We had some bad storms predicted tonight so I wasn’t sure how I was going to sneak my run in.Right as we got home it down poured and I thought for sure I was in trouble (or would find myself running in the rain) since I wasn’t going to have time to go to the gym before we had company over tonight. I lucked out and there was literally a half hour clearing of rain and I went for a super fast run.
Okay, it wasn’t SUPER fast but it was definitely a quick run compared to what some of my other week day runs turn into.
Overall it felt pretty good. I’m still having a hard time getting back on track with my weight. I gained this past weekend after a lot of bad food decisions and it doesn’t seem to want to go away. I saw this Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie on Run Eat Repeat this week and gave it a try this morning. I HIGHLY recommend it. It was fantastic and will be taking turns with my favorite Overnight Oats as breakfast for awhile.
