I officially have 9 and a half miters done. I’m hoping to actually finish the 10th this weekend so I can say I’m halfway!!!! I sewed up the first 9 just so i don’t have to do so much sewing when it’s done. I’m not big on the sewing, but we’ll see what happens 🙂 I laid out all of the miters in a square of 3×3 today and took a picture. So here’s where the blanket stands as of now!
I’m loving the blanket and really can’t wait for it to be done. I’ve had just a little bit of knitting A-D-D recently. There have been some dishcloths… I needed some quick pick me up projects so I’ve been working on dishcloths. From there I did a quick pair of the Felted FlipFlops by KalamazooKnits.
They were using some of the left over yarn I had from the Miter Square blanket. As you can see, I ran out of some of the pink. I borrowed some of roommates left over pink from her sweater disaster to finish up the one flip flop.
That’s really all on the knitting front. In terms of spinning I’m still slowly spinning up the Romney but I’ve been only spinning when we go out with my knitting group to the local Alpaca Farm. I should be done with the Romney soon, it’s possible that I’ll get that bug this week to finish it and be done with it! I have some alpaca I want to spin up as well as some cashmere I want to spin up for my moms birthday!
