One thing I really wish was possible was the ability to run in the morning. Yes, I know I could get up early and go for a morning run. I am one of those people who is not comfortable running when it’s dark out which pretty much cancels out my ability to go running in the morning.
I’m on a short little long weekend break & while everyone else in my house was sleeping this morning I decided to try and sneak in a quick 3 miles. The entire time I was running I kept telling myself I wasn’t feeling as good as I did last night. The wind was a lot stronger today and I felt like I was running a WHOLE. LOT. SLOWER.
Apparently I was not running as slow as I felt like I was! My splits are probably not 100% accurate (I really want a GPS Running Watch). I am HIGHLY doubting my last mile was really only 8:05. I came home and remapped out my run to be sure it was correct. I pulled off 3.0 miles in 26:19. It is not quite as good as last nights run, but it still feels pretty damn good.
I texted one of my friends and was debating on whether I was just crazy of if 3 miles is just getting easier. Apparently it’s getting easier… oh and I’m still crazy.
