Each month I think back to my college days of coffee between classes with friends. While we are all around the country now in different parts of our lives, it is always nice to sit down and have coffee again. Since they aren’t here, would you join me for a virtual coffee date?
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that we are quickly anticipating Snowmageddon 2016. As I type up my blog I’m listening to the crazy winds outside and watching the school cancellations roll in. 12 inches of snow heading our way for our first major snow storm of 2016.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I have zero complaints about the lack of snow we’ve had this Winter. Little Man on the other hand will probably spend most of his day making snow angels today.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that Midwest weather is just weird. We spent our entire Saturday at the park and grilled out tons of food in 60 degree weather. Now we are expecting a foot of snow.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that so many tv shows seem to be wrapping up already. The Bachelor only has a few more weeks, Biggest Loser ended and we have one more episode of Downton Abbey FOREVER. I’m not ready for this to happen!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that someone at my office discovered Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich coffee this week. I haven’t heard the results of anyone trying it yet but it sounds so interesting.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I just put Buffalo Chicken Chili in the crock pot for dinner and I can’t wait to eat it all. It is one of my favorite crock pot recipes and I’ve been thinking about it for a few weeks now.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that Little Man turns THREE this weekend. THREE! He has turned into such a little kid in the last year and you can see his mind working in so many ways. He is a mama’s boy, total sweetheart and too smart for his own good some days!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that Little Man’s birthday party will be “Lightning Mcqueen” themed. The cake is ordered and he is overly excited about it. He wasn’t exactly thrilled that after we picked out the cake that we couldn’t take it home right away. Maybe next year he’ll understand the waiting process a little more.
If we were having coffee together what would you tell me?
Would you try a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich coffee?
I bet time passes too quickly when your kids are little. Have fun at the party!

I would try out the PB&J coffee, at least once! If we were having coffee I’d tell you how excited I am that my toddler says “night night” before bed at 16 months.

He will not understand the waiting process more next year, if anything he will likely be even more impatient. lol. At least that is the case for my now FIVE year old (how did that happen?)
