Happy Cinco De Mayo! Do you have a wonderful lunch planned filled with margaritas? Me either. There will be Chipotle though, does that count? Anyways… moving on. I’m not a teacher (my wonderful husband is) and my kids are not in school yet but I can’t help but feel anxious as another school year comes to a close. Watching everyone run from activity to activity and getting summer sports schedules sent over is making me excited for everything in the upcoming months. We typically cram in as many activities as possible when the weather gets nice and it is about time to get busy again. For now… a little bit of what we are up to currently.

Currently In Love With…
Eating: I don’t know why I didn’t get on the avocado toast train until these last few months but I am so addicted. Each morning I’ve been enjoying a half an avocado with some red pepper flakes on top of a piece of toast. This mixed with hard boiled eggs has been THE PERFECT breakfast.
Drinking: The coffee drinking has gotten real lately. It may have something to do with the lack of sleep on Baby B’s part but I have quickly jumped back up to 2-3 cups a day. As I type Hawaiian Hazelnut is gracing my cup.
Wearing: If I could I would be wearing all Lululemon all of the time. My selection of clothes has slowly been building up to a point where I can wear it a few days a week. One of these days there is a good chance that you won’t find me wearing anything but Lululemon. Their clothes are amazing you guys. I can’t speak highly enough of them.
Currently Doing…
Organizing: Baby B is growing faster than I can get his clothes swapped out so we’re quickly putting away the 6 month clothes and pulling out the 9 and 12 month clothes. That may have something to do with the amount of food he eats a day. This kid can put it away!
Reading: I recently picked up a package of blogging training materials from the Ultimate Bundle. I saved off most of the ebooks to my iPad and I’ve been slowly working my way through them. This was after the incredible amount of information I picked up from Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. I’m a nerd, what can I say!
Watching: It might be considered a miracle but I am caught up on Designated Survivor. If Designated Survivor is not on your watch list, I would highly recommend adding it.
Planning For: No doubt the thing I am the most excited to plan for is our Summer evenings. I feel like I missed out on a lot of the Summer excitement last year being super pregnant. We already have many trips to the park planned out with friends.
Working Out: Last month I decided to add a weight lifting routine on days I wasn’t running. It doesn’t excitement as much but I am finally starting to see the results I’ve been looking for. Our weekly yoga class has also been a nice way to change up the routine.
Currently…
Loving The Fact That: Flowers are blooming around our house and they smell amazing! Little man has been bringing me dandelions all to regularly so it was a nice surprise to receive some lilacs the other day.
Enjoying: The warm days have been coming and going but we are trying to make the most of it when they are here. From trips to the park, walks around the neighborhood and playing chalk outside it has been fun.
Feeling: On the flip side, we have had A LOT of rain over the last week. It’s really dragged me down in a lot of ways. Luckily there are a few more days of sun promised in the next week.
Laughing At: #PromFail on Twitter! I highly recommend a good 15 minutes to laugh at these.
What are you up to currently?
I am loving the flowers in my yard. Today it is raining but it will be sunny soon.
I don’t know about you but I feel like the rain will never end!
“The coffee drinking has gotten real lately.” – hahaha, I can totally relate. My coffee consumption has gone up a lot since I’ve cut way down on sugar. If it’s not one it’s the other! Love the Twitter PromFails too.
LOL! I’m just being honest! I could easily see how it would go up if you cut down on sugar!
I haven’t jumped on the avocado bandwagon yet, but that breakfast you described sounds pretty good!

Do it! I was really skeptical about Avocado on toast but it is DELICIOUS!
Happy Cinco De Mayo. I have ZERO plans today to celebrate.
I love this time of year; all the flowers in bloom, the sweet smells in the air and all the outside time! Oh, and Hawaiian coffee is always on the top of my list. My hubby & I went to Hawaii on our honeymoon and we actually got to go to Kauai’s coffee plantation so, of course, i’m hooked now.
I hope you have an amazing weekend!

I love all your ‘currents’ Kristin! I’m currently showering before noon and wearing real clothes Lol, I’m currently getting out and working away from home at least once a week *yes!, and I’m currently learning the benefit to riding the flats vs always climbing!!
xo Happy Cinco de Mayo new friend!

LOL!! Showering before noon is a GREAT currently! I’m very jealous that you were able to take that time this morning! haha!
Even without being on the school year calendar right now either, I still get so excited for this time of year, too. Summer is the best!

It really is the best time of the year! I’m so excited for the summer!
I love this season, if for nothing else but the flowers!
I usually go to Chipotle every year for Teacher Appreciation Week! But I didn’t go this year because the closest one to us is 70 miles away now!
