With the humidity this week I can honestly say I am glad that I have no larger (or longer) races in July! As of right now my next race won’t be until the end of August, hopefully by then some of this humidity clears!
My second half marathon training run for this week said 10 minutes walk/jog, 20 minute run, 10 minutes walk/jog. My first 10 minutes & last 10 minutes were around 9:15 per mile, the rest of the run I tried to stay between 8:40 and 9:05. Honestly, I felt good when I left but once again I feel like the heat is trying to kick my butt! I guess that is the joys of running outside at 10am in July :).
I was supposed to run last night but sleep got the best of me and I’m 100% okay with that.
For cross training this week most of my “training” has been 3 mile walks. Time was not on my side this week so I took advantage of what I could get get my training in. Tuesday night I did Jillian Micheal’s 6 Week 6 Pack again. I swear that lady is going to kick my butt!
